Johannes Salim Ismaiel-Wendt / Andi Schoon (Ed.) –  Postcolonial Repercussions. On Sound Ontologies and Decolonised Listening (Transcript, book)

Is it possible to carry out an academic examination of musical cultures beyond Eurocentric composition, production and reception without questioning academia itself? Probably not, which is why Johannes Salim Ismaiel-Wendt and Andi Schoon did call for conventional papers for the anthology »Postcolonial Repercussions. On Sound Ontologies and Decolonised Listening« and, on top of that, eagerly debate the submissions of the various authors to this anthology in a mail exchange printed instead of a preface.
