The Rắn Cạp Đuôi Collective from Ho Chi Minh City has immortalised its numerous activities over the past six years on a series of releases that are both open in style and uncategorisable. The album »Ngủ Ngày Ngay Ngày Tận Thế« for the Berlin label Subtext is based on recordings from a two-day collective jam session, which were poured into their final form by Berlin producer Ziúr. The sound aesthetic is decidedly futuristic and yet characterised by noise, the structures are reminiscent of club and pop music, yet constantly in flux and characterised by breaks. Overwhelming music in the best sense of the word.
