István Grencsó – reeds
Elisabeth Harnik – piano
Paul Lytton – drums

Doors 19:30 / Concert 20:30
No reservation necessary

The second of two nights at KM28 with this new quartet, featuring compositions by Vandermark and Grencsó.

Ken Vandermark is one of the most prolific and prominent members of the American free music scene; István Grencsó has been the uncompromising leader of Hungary's avant garde for decades; Elisabeth Harnik is a central figure of Austrian new music and free improvisation; and Paul Lytton played a crucial role in the formation of Britain's free improvisation movement in the early 1970s and hasn't stopped exploring new musical horizons since. Together, the group aims to fuse its wide range of musical backgrounds and traditions into a unique amalgam.
